It's Segura's second All-Star selection after representing the National League in 2013, and the first All-Star appearance for Aguilar, who was picked up off waivers by the Brewers in February and is tied for the NL lead in home runs.
"It's going to be my dream come true," Aguilar said, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. "It was a lot of stuff; it was three busy days. But we're here. We made it. I just have to say thank you."
San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt, Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy, Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner and St. Louis Cardinals infielder Matt Carpenter were the other nominees from the NL.
Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi, New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario, and Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons were the other AL candidates.
